Terms of use

Last updated 9 July 2026

These terms govern your use of DeepDiggr (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

01 Operator information

DeepDiggr is an independent project. Legal information relating to the operator may be provided to competent authorities where required by applicable law. For general inquiries, contact [email protected].

02 What DeepDiggr is

DeepDiggr is a music discovery and exploration tool. It transforms public catalogue metadata into a searchable, navigable experience or a collaboration graph, search, and visualizations that let you trace the artists, labels, and credits behind records.

DeepDiggr is an aid to discovery. It does not sell, distribute, or host recordings.

03 Discogs data attribution

Catalogue metadata used by the Service is derived from the Discogs database, made available by Discogs under the Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal public domain dedication.

DeepDiggr is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by Discogs or Zink Media, LLC. Metadata may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date, and is provided without any guarantee of correctness.

04 Third-party content and services

DeepDiggr does not host music, video, or other media. Playback and previews are surfaced through third-party services such as YouTube, each subject to its own terms and privacy policy. Availability of any track, preview, or link depends entirely on those third parties and may change or disappear without notice.

05 Intellectual property

The DeepDiggr name, branding, user interface, source code, algorithms, graph visualisations, and other original features are owned by the operator or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property law.

Third-party trademarks, artwork, recordings, and metadata remain the property of their respective owners. Nothing in the Service transfers any right in that material to you.

06 Acceptable use

You agree not to:

07 Service availability

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may modify, interrupt, suspend, or discontinue any part of it at any time, with or without notice. We give no guarantee of uptime, continuity, or availability.

08 Accounts

User accounts are not currently offered. If accounts are introduced, you will be responsible for the accuracy of your details, for keeping your credentials secure, and for activity under your account. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

09 Pricing and paid features

Some features may be offered free of charge and others as paid premium features or subscriptions. Where a feature is paid, its price and any separate billing and subscription terms will be shown before you commit to it, and those terms will govern that feature.

10 Warranty disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that it will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that defects will be corrected.

11 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, nor for loss of data, loss of profits, service interruptions, or the acts, omissions, or failures of third-party services. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

12 Privacy

Personal data is handled under our separate [Privacy Policy], which describes what we collect and your rights under the GDPR and applicable privacy law. Where that policy and these terms differ on data matters, the Privacy Policy governs.

13 Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.

14 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France and the European Union, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the competent French courts, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you where you live.

15 Contact and legal requests

To report a data correction, raise a legal concern, or flag a content issue, email [email protected]. Please describe the record or content in question so we can look into it.
